History
A group of Portuguese friends, Kawasaki Vulcan enthusiasts, have known each other through a non-formal national organization, named Vulcan S Portugal. The meetings held there allowed knowledge and contact with delegations from the Vulcan Riders Association, such as VRA Spain Territorial Galicia. Originally created in 1998, the Vulcan Riders Association is represented in more than 34 countries, including numerous regional delegations.
It quickly recognized the added value for Portugal in having a national delegation of this association. Then begins the dream, and the work, of gathering the necessary conditions for this to happen. In 2024, the Vulcan Riders Association Portugal – Chapter 351 was born.
We are an independent, democratic and participatory club with our own rules that are different from most other motorcycle associations and clubs. This does not prevent, however, respect, articulation, mutual assistance and companionship with all of them. We proudly respect the Kawasaki Vulcan history and identity, with common values that cut across good motorcycling practices.
Purpose
The Portuguese Kawasaki Vulcan Riders Association has as its fundamental value the promotion of responsible motorcycling. We organize national and regional activities and encourage the participation of all associates, family members and loved ones. Socializing, leisure, adventure, gastronomic and tasting experiences are mandatory at all of our events. We prioritize companionship, friendship, tolerance, mutual help, in a familiar and pleasant environment.
All Vulcan owners are welcome, without restrictions on age, nationality, gender or identity. We hope to welcome you soon, so join us.
